Catch up

So I know I haven't updated in a really long time, its been quite busy, let me tell you! Clint and I were married on Feb 6! I moved into the apartment officially that day, and its been wonderful! I can't believe how much I love married life so far. Yes, its only been about 2 and a half weeks, but still! Its amazing! I've taken so well to being like a housewife, its crazy. And for ME to say that, well wow! Thats truly saying something! I can completely and accurately characterize myself as an undomesticated woman, to my mother's dismay, I'm sure. That poor woman has spent years and years trying to teach me to no avail. However, I am pleased to report that I cook dinner (and NOT just spaghetti or CEREAL) each night that I don't have to close, the apartment is cleaned, dishes are done, laundry is done. The floor is swept and carpet vacuumed. Bathroom is basically spotless. I'm amazing. (Yes, let me toot my horn some more!) So thank you Mom, your efforts have completely paid off. My husband is a happy boy.

I've been spending my days off trying to get my name changed over to Erdman. It's a looooong process man! Thank goodness when we got the marriage license we were able to designate that I wanted my name changed over as soon as we were married, so that saved me from filing with the courts and having to appear in front of a judge to change it. But then there's Social Security, and the DMV, and work, and the bank! I went last Friday to SS and spent a good half hour sitting there listening to everyone and their problems and why they needed their money and blah blah blah...then it was my turn and I was up there for literally 5 minutes while it was changed. Same thing at the DMV. Everyone seems to have these horrible problems and they always feel the need to literally start at the beginning...of life...to tell their story. And it takes me no more than 5 minutes start to finish to get my stuff done. Aggravated much?

But thank goodness, it is done. Work and bank will be easy, not too worried about that. And it won't take me NEARLY as long for that. Pictures of the wedding and apartment are coming, I PROMISE! I don't have my computer up here yet, and I'm not sure if I want to upload all the pictures onto this computer. We'll see. But wedding pictures, I haven't even seen yet. They better be good...what with all the rain...lovely day!

First of all - CONGRATULATIONS!!! on the wedding. Second - there needs to be a party so that we can celebrate this appropriately with you. ;) I heard March 14th??

Isn't it a scary thing to {love} all that domestic stuff? Embrace it. It's what us ladies can do smashingly well. I love to hear about you embracing your inner Domestic Diva ( or Goddess )

OH and I got a sneak peek of some of the wedding photos when your mom came over and spoiled us this past Sunday with lovely chocolates. This new lb I gained this weeks is all her doing! ;)
